Advice 2: Perhaps you have devoted yourself to this job to the point of self-victimization and now is the time to get back on your feet and stand up for your rights. Look at your life and see what areas you have allowed yourself to be the victim because of old thought processes and change those thought processes.
Advice 3: Your focus is too narrow on the matter at hand and you need to take a step back and take a look at the big picture. You need clarity and inspiration in this matter … try imaginative problem-solving techniques. Think about your situation and visualize things that you could do that might help solve your problem. While you do this, be prepared to adapt to changes in your plan.

Professor Randy Pausch learned that his pancreatic cancer spread to his liver and the doctors give him 3 to 6 months to live. He decided to do a lecture that was meant to be something that his children would watch - a legacy to his family.

As it has happened, over 6 million people have watched and been inspired by this lecture. It does not focus on his cancer, his spirituality/religion or his family and children - it focuses on how to achieve your childhood dreams. It really looks at how to have fun in life. It talks about how to view life and attitudes that will help you on your life path. It is filled with humour - very entertaining to watch.

Take what you can from the lecture. If you only find one thing inspiring or enlightening, it is worth watching it.
